1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using The Sports Server ("TSS," "we," "our," or "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. TSS is operated by TSS Technologies Inc.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TSS. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent. Coaches, scouts, agents, and brand accounts must represent real organizations or individuals.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on TSS (posts, film, photos, profile information). By posting content, you grant TSS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating the Platform. You are solely responsible for the content you post and must not post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or infringes on third-party rights.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) impersonate any person or entity; (b) harass, bully, or threaten other users; (c) use the Platform for any illegal purpose; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems; (e) use automated tools to scrape or collect data; (f) create fake profiles or fraudulent content; (g) upload viruses or malicious code; (h) manipulate rankings, stats, or engagement metrics.

6. Premium Subscriptions

TSS offers paid subscription tiers (Basic and Elite) with additional features. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through our payment processor (Stripe). You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. TSS reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Termination

TSS may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Content you have posted may continue to exist in backups but will be removed from public view.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TSS is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-generated content, including player statistics, academic records, or film.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TSS and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to TSS in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Platform or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

1. Introduction

The Sports Server ("TSS," "we," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our platform. TSS is operated by TSS Technologies Inc., based in Ontario, Canada.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email address, password (encrypted), user type (player, coach, scout, agent, brand, fan), date of birth.

Profile Information: School, position, measurables (height, weight, wingspan), academic records (GPA, graduation year), sport history, achievements, profile photo, bio.

Activity Data: Posts, comments, likes, messages, connections, film uploads, search queries, profile views.

Payment Information: When you subscribe to a premium plan, payment is processed by Stripe. TSS does not store your full credit card number. We retain your subscription status, plan tier, and billing history.

Device & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, timestamps. This is collected automatically to improve the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide, operate, and maintain the Platform; (b) create and manage your account; (c) display your profile to other users based on your privacy settings; (d) process payments for premium subscriptions; (e) send notifications about activity on your account; (f) improve the Platform through analytics; (g) enforce our Terms of Service; (h) respond to support requests.

4. How We Share Your Information

Public Profile: Your name, profile photo, position, school, and achievements are visible to other TSS users by default. You can control visibility through Privacy Settings.

Connections Only Mode: When enabled, only your connections can see your full profile. Your name, photo, and school remain visible to all users.

Service Providers: We share data with third-party providers who help operate the Platform (Firebase for authentication, Stripe for payments, email delivery services).

Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Your Privacy Controls

TSS provides granular privacy controls in your Settings page, including:

• Show or hide contact information on your profile
• Control profile visibility in search results (Elite feature)
• Enable "Connections Only" mode to restrict profile access
• Allow or block messages from non-connections
• Control whether coaches and scouts can view your psych evaluation
• Enable or disable profile view tracking
• Hide specific profile sections (measurables, academics, achievements, sport history)
• Block individual users from viewing your profile or appearing in your search results

6. Data Export & Deletion

You may request a copy of your personal data at any time through the "Download My Data" feature in Settings. You may request account deletion by contacting support at support@tssapp.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted passwords, secure HTTPS connections, and Firebase Authentication. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Minors

TSS is available to users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us immediately.

9. Cookies & Tracking

TSS uses local storage and session storage to maintain your login state and preferences (such as dark mode). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics data is collected solely to improve the Platform experience.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email. Your continued use of TSS after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
